Nancy J. Noonan, 78, of Oak Park Place, formerly of 2002 Hale St. in Dubuque and Bernard, died March 14, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Peosta. The Rev. Michael Podhajsky will officiate. Burial will be at Holy Family Cemetery, Peosta. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 16, at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3860 Asbury Rd., Dubuque, where there will be a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Nancy was born Dec. 3, 1936, in Monticello, daughter of Les and Iven (Willenborg) Weber. She married John L. "Oz" Noonan on Nov. 7, 1959, at St. Mary's Church, Cascade. He preceded her in death Oct. 7, 1999.
Nancy's life revolved around her family and friends. She enjoyed watching and cheering at her children's and grandchildren's different events. She also enjoyed entertaining family and friends in her home.
She previously worked at National Car Rental, Loras College and Anderson Weber.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are her children, Amy (Cy) Kluesner, Dubuque, Vickie (Joe) Takes, Bettendorf, Chris Noonan, Dubuque, Roger (Jessica) Noonan, Golden, Colo., and Laura (Jim) Barnes, Cedar Rapids; 10 grandchildren, Molly, Megan, Morgan Kluesner, Emily Takes, Ashley, Angela, Aubrey Noonan, Ryan Ruble, Maggie and Emma Barnes; a great-granddaughter, Isabel Jones; her siblings, Phil (Joan) Weber, Kathleen Weber, Russ (Cathy) Weber and Charles (Marianne) Weber, all of Dubuque, Mark (Tricia) Weber, Omaha, Neb., and James (Terri) Weber, Eden Prairie, Minn.; and a sister-in-law, Maddie Reno-Weber, Louisville, Ky.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Paul J. Weber; and a brother-in-law, Richard Weber.
Memorials may be made to Camp Courageous of Iowa, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Dubuque Head Injury Association.
