NANCY RAYNER STRAUS WINNER KOTTEMANN

Nancy Rayner Straus Winner Kottemann, 88, of Iowa City, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, at Mercy Iowa City. The family will greet friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, at the Kirkwood Room (next to Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service), Iowa City. Nancy donated her body to the UI College of Anatomy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to University of Iowa Foundation for the Carver Family Center for Macular Degeneration or Planned Parenthood. Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service.
Nancy is survived by her children, Michael (Ellen) Winner of Mills River, N.C., and their children, Rachel and Frank; Barb Winner (Ernie) Larew of Marion and their children, Andy (Molly) Larew and Katie (Craig) Woychik; Jan Winner (Tom) Beal of Cedar Rapids and their children, Justin and Elyse; Bill (Jean) Kottemann of Orono, Minn., and their sons, Kraig (Laura) and Scott (Camille); Bob Kottemann (Cindy Carper) of Nashville, Tenn.; and Brent (Pam) Kottemann of Iowa City and their children, Brooke (Ben) Hill, Blake, Lisa (Dave) Lewis and Luke.
She also is survived by six great-grandchildren, Jason and Jack Larew, Reese and Ethan Hill and Valerie and Olivia Kottemann.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one grandson.
