Nancy Lee Kaplan, 79,
of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center. No services will be held. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Survivors include her husband, Morris; her two children, Kimberly Forsythe of Iowa City and Scott (Zorrie) Forsythe of Hiawatha; four stepchildren, Morris (Cindy) Kaplan and Lynnae (Rod) Garringer of Iowa City, Janelle Jacobi of Coralville and Cynthia James of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Michael (Laura) Lash of Coralville, and Chase and Chane Forsythe, both of Cedar Rapids; and two brothers, Larry (Linda) Clauson of Des Moines and Jim (Rosalyn) Clauson of Marion.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, David Lash.
Nancy was born on Sept. 1, 1936, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of John and Frances Herr Clauson. She married Morris William Kaplan on July 23, 1979, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She was a receptionist at the Abbe Center and a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
Nancy enjoyed going out to dinner, traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
