Nancy L. Conner, 69, of Iowa City, died Monday, April 28, 2014, at Mercy Hospice in
Iowa City. Her family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 2, at Lensing
Funeral Service in Iowa City. Private burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Nancy was born Sept. 3, 1944, in Iowa City, the daughter of Wilbur and Betty (Hess) Conner. Growing up in Iowa City, Nancy graduated from Iowa City High School in 1962 and worked at Barbara's Bake Shoppe in downtown Iowa City. She later worked in Central Sterilization at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.
Nancy is survived by her sister, Patty and her husband, Jim of Iowa City; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents died before her.
