Nancy Jane Tolbert Barr, 91, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Feb. 14, 2017, at Meth-Wick.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Private entombment will be at Cedar Memorial Mausoleum.
Nancy was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 13, 1925, to James W. and Fay Allen. She married George M. Tolbert on Sept. 24, 1950. They were blessed with two children, Scott and Jane.
George passed away July 14, 1986. Her daughter, Jane Tolbert Pacetti, also preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 1997, along with her parents.
Nancy married Louis F. Barr on Jan. 30, 1993, and he passed away June 27, 2004.
She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and Naomi Circle of Westminster Presbyterian Women.
Nancy loved to play golf and bridge in her younger days.
Nancy is survived by her son, Scott (Rosemary) Tolbert of Millis, Mass.; a grandson, Ross Pacetti of Colorado Springs, Colo. She also is survived by her stepchildren, Dennis (Louise) Barr, Omaha, Neb., Douglas (Clare) Barr of St. Helena, Calif., and Janine Barr of Cedar Rapids; and three step-grandchildren, Abby, Chris and Wilson Barr.
