Nancy J. Agnew, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the Crestridge Care Center in Maquoketa. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence with Pastor Tessa Cavey officiating. Burial will follow at the Massillon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Nancy was born on Oct. 31, 1938, in Philadelphia to Carlos and Emily (Dummler) Beringer. She married Arthur Agnew on Jan. 22, 1994, in Culver City, Calif. He passed away on Jan. 1, 2005.
Nancy was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Hawkeye Doll Club and a member of St. Paul's UCC in Wheatland. She loved her cats and was generous to her charities.
Nancy is survived by her nieces, Barbara Ullrich, Helen O'Neill and Patsy Pulcher; nephew, Steve Agnew; and special friend, Gail Leal.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
