Nadine Hart, 99, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024, at UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Graveside Service: 10:30 AM, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Garden of Eternal Love. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Nadine was born on April 20, 1925, in Huggins, MO, the daughter of Floyd and Ava Black. She was united in marriage to Golden E. “Goldie” Hart on May 8, 1958, in Mississippi. Nadine had worked at Brown’s Shoe Company, Turners, and was an Avon Lady. She was a very religious woman.
Survivors include her daughter Wanda Klein of Cedar Rapids; son-in-law, Donald Kilts, Sr. of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Golden “Goldie” Hart in 2005; daughter, Kathy Kilts; one sister, Mary McGowen; one brother, Leslie “Bud” Black; granddaughter, Linda Klein; and son-in-law, Alan Klein.
