Nadine Cooley, 87, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018.
Nadine Cooley was born near Grinnell, Iowa, and went to nursing school in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was married for 62 years to Eugene Cooley and they lived in Cedar Rapids for 50 years. They were snowbirds in Mesa, Ariz., for 25 years before moving there full-time. Nadine had eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was best known for her talents expressed through quilts, jewelry making, greeting cards, and stained glass work. She always had a positive attitude and a big smile on her face!
She is survived by children, Carla Levi, Craig Cooley and Cathy Weber; and brothers, Bill and Steve Hay.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Cooley.
Nadine Cooley will be buried at the Manchester Cemetery with her husband Eugene Cooley. Family and friends had a celebration of Life in Mesa, Ariz., on Nov. 3rd.
