Myrna J. Whittaker, 85, of Washington, Iowa, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at her residence following a short illness. Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with Father Bernie Weir officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday, March 3, at Jones & Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
A memorial has been established for Hospice of Washington County.

She is survived by a son, Mike Whittaker of Washington; son, Pat Whittaker of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Annette Fritz of Washington; son, David Whittaker of Gainesboro, Tenn.; daughter, Mary Whittaker of Washington; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
