Myrna Earhart, 87, of Hiawatha, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2023. She was born on Feb. 10, 1936, in Charlotte, Iowa, to Ralph and Anna Mohr. She married Jack Earhart in 1956, raised a loving family, and later divorced. Myrna worked at US West for 36 years before retiring and was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church. Myrna loved playing cards, doing puzzles, cooking and spending time with her family and many friends.
She was loved by many and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Among those survivors are her brother, Merlin (Rhoda) Mohr of Houston, Texas; her son, Bruce (Kim) Earhart of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Julia Harrity of Fort Collins, Colo., Jessica (Jake) Howar of Crystal Lake, Ill., Colton (Amy) Earhart of Marion and Austin Earhart (Rachel) of Atkins; and three great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Emery and Lorelei.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Anna Mohr; son, Steve; and sisters, LaVonne and Donna.
Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, April 10, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Funeral service: 11 a.m. Monday, April 10, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
