Myers, Rhonda
Rhonda Myers, 47, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital surrounded by her family, Thursday, June 14, 2012. Services: 9 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at St Ludmila's Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. Presider Father Dennis Juhl and homilist Jim Berger. Family will greet friends from 5-8:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2012, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service where a vigil service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Burial: at St Joseph Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her father, Ronald Myers; sisters, Mary Myers of Cedar Rapids and Anita (Jim) Bojan of McHenry, Illinois; nieces Maddie and Avi; cousins, Anne and Joe Chesmore both of Cedar Rapids and John Chesmore of St. Louis, Missouri.
Preceded in death by her mother.
Rhonda was born July 30, 1964, daughter of Ronald and Patricia (Suits) Myers, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She enjoyed traveling, word search books, soap operas, and shopping. Rhonda's favorite color was red. She loved the Oak Ridge Boys, working at Options and was a hard worker. Rhonda was very optimistic, loving and kind hearted.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Feed the Children and St. Ludmila Catholic Church.
