Murray, Carole
Carole Murray died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at the age of 77 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. A visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories where friends may call.
Surviving are her children, Maureen Loboda of Cedar Rapids, Colleen Murray of Seattle, Wash., Kathleen Murray of Cedar Rapids, Kristeen (Dan) Walter of St. Joseph, Mich., and Steven (Sandra) Murray of Cedarburg, Wis.; grandchildren, Joey and Michael Loboda, Jake and Olivia Niederhauser, Ben and Sam Walter, and Maxwell Murray; and a brother, Peter (Jean) Wrenn of Savannah, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; and a brother, Richard Wrenn.
Carole Frances Murray was born Feb. 11, 1933, in St. Paul, Minn., the daughter of Richard and Bertha (Wiggins) Wrenn. She was united in marriage to Richard Murray on July 9, 1954. She worked at Randall's Grocery Store in Cedar Rapids for 18 years.
A memorial fund has been established.
