Murawski, William J. Jr.
William J. Murawski Jr., 64, of Dubuque, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville. Visitation will be after 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, until leaving for the services at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to DAV (Disabled American Veterans).

William Joseph Murawski Jr. was born June 2, 1947, in Trenton, N.J., the son of William J. Murawski Sr. and Cecelia (Romejko) Murawski. Following high school and college, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a combat veteran of the Vietnam War. He resided in California most of his life before moving to Dubuque in 1992. He spent his working years performing quality assurance for various companies. William enjoyed fishing, reading and his grandchildren. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
His family includes a daughter, Dia Michelle Welch and her husband, Michael of Coralville; two grandchildren, Timothy and Clara Welch; Judy Murawski; two brothers; and one sister.
