Mumby, Florence L.
Florence L. Mumby, 96, of Williamsburg, formerly of Marengo, died Friday, July 5, 2013, at Highland Ridge Care Center, Williamsburg. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, at First Presbyterian Church, Marengo, with the Rev. Diane Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 8, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
Memorials may be contributed to First Presbyterian Church, Marengo, or Highland Ridge Care Center, Williamsburg.
Florence is survived by her son, Larry and wife Mary of Denver, Iowa; and two grandsons, Adam (Lori) of Waterloo and Christopher of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Merritt J. Gates and Luella Whitehill Gates; her husband, Orville in 2011; and two sisters, Elizabeth Jacoby and Alice White.
