Mullinex, Duane Eldon
Duane Eldon Mullinex, 76, of Maquoketa, formerly of Shellsburg, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at Jackson County Hospital in Maquoketa following a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at Phillips Family Center, 605 Second Ave., Vinton. Friends may call at the Family Center from 1 p.m. until service time.
He is survived by his children, Eric (Jessica) Mullinex of Cedar Rapids, Stacey Mullinex of Independence and Stephanie Mullinex of Waterloo; and his sisters, Norma Coy of Shellsburg, June Breedlove of Oklahoma and Imogene Shoemaker of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Nealy and Thurly Mullinex; and his sister, Evadean Derifield.
