Mueller, Harold L.
Harold L. Mueller, 90, of Garnavillo, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at the Guttenberg Care Center from complications following surgery.
He was born on May 21, 1923, in McGregor, Iowa, to Lloyd and Adele (Hamann) Mueller.
He is survived by his five daughters, Kay (Lynn) Ihde, Kathy (Wayne) Helle, both of Garnavillo, Sue (Lee) Connell of Cedar Rapids, Amy Wrightsman of Decorah and Heidi (Charles) Berns of Coralville; three sons, Dennis Mueller of DeWitt, Bruce (Bonnie) Mueller of Coralville and Craig (Mary) Mueller of Guttenberg; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ivanell; daughter, Dottie Lou in infancy; son, David in Vietnam; grandson, Troy Ihde; sister, Ariel Zittergruen; and brother Gene Mueller.
Arrangements are being handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 001 S. Industrial Park Rd., Garnavillo, Iowa, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, and one hour before service Saturday at church. Memorial service will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Garnavillo, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Wayne Ellingson officiating. Inurnment will be at the Garnavillo Community Cemetery.
