Muckler, Audrey Ellen
Audrey Ellen Muckler, 80, of Cedar Rapids, died June 23, 2011, at the Hiawatha Care Center. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, in the chapel of Westminster Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Jim Langley will officiate. Private inurnment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Surviving are her children, Tracy Pearson and husband Bill of Eden Prairie, Minn., Todd Muckler of Cedar Rapids and Trent Muckler and wife Jill of Marion; her granddaughters, Noelle Pearson of Eden Prairie, Minn., Devin Muckler and Caryss Muckler, both of Marion; her sister, Cheryl Roberts and husband Gary of Cedar Rapids; and her brother, Daryl Northrop of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; and her brother, Gary Northrop.
Audrey was born Feb. 13, 1931, in West Union, the daughter of Cecil L. and Ellen E. (Elsner) Northrop. She was united in marriage to Jack B. Muckler on March 9, 1952, in Cedar Rapids. Jack preceded her in death in 1997.
She was a Realtor for First Realty, Better Homes and Gardens for 10 years, owned and operated the Cedar Rapids Welcome Service as well as being a caring and devoted mother of three. She was a member of Sweet Adelines, Four Score Club, Tuesday Morning Bible Group, and Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she had served as a deacon. She enjoyed playing bridge and above all, time spent with her beloved family.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.
Memorial donations in Audrey's honor may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church.
