Morrow, June I. (Moyer)
June I. (Moyer) Morrow, 77, of Central City, died peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, July 31, 2009. Services:
10:30 a.m., Tuesday at The First United Methodist Church in Central City, by the Rev. Nick Needham. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Central City, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Mt. Clark Cemetery, Central City.
Survivors include her husband, William; her children, Leanne (Jim) Young, Curt (Carla) Morrow, Brett (Kelly) Morrow, and Craig (Janet) Morrow; grandchildren, Eric Lewis, Amy Lewis, Brooke Young, Ryan Young, Matt Morrow (fiancee, Amy Henkes), Ben Morrow, Amanda Morrow, Lee Morrow, and Billy Morrow; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Libby Gilbert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James and Donald Moyer; a sister, Dorothy Moyer; and a grandson, Todd Andrew Lewis.
June was born Feb. 14, 1932, the daughter of Albert and Grace (Parks) Moyer, in Viola. She graduated from Viola High School in 1950, and married William Morrow on Feb. 10, 1957, in Anamosa. June enjoyed gardening, working on the farm, and especially raising animals. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Central City and a member of the Genealogical Society.
June loved her family dearly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The First United Methodist Church in Central City.
