Morrison, Tucker William
Tucker William Morrison was born April 27, 1988, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Lynn D. and Pamela J. (Quick) Morrison. He died suddenly on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, after a motorcycle accident at the age of 25 years.
Tuck graduated from English Valleys High School in 2006 and attended Iowa State University. Tuck lived in North English and worked for M & M Auto Body as a technician. He was an avid ISU Cyclone and Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed spending time with his dad working on cars, loved Ford Mustangs and spending time with his niece, nephew and girlfriend.
He is survived by his parents, Lynn and Pam Morrison of North English; a brother, Tanner (Jess) Morrison of Iowa City; a sister, Sabrina (Nick) Cox of Ankeny; a niece, Brylee Cox; a nephew, Breckin Morrison; his girlfriend, Deanna Bryant of Ladora; best friend, Travis Gensley; two grandmothers, Janet Morrison of North English and Sylvia Quick of Newhall; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Morrison and Bill Quick.
Celebration of Life service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at Powell Funeral Home, North English. Rick Gerard will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
A general memorial fund has been established.
