Morris W. Hay, 85, of Morris, Ill., formerly of Marion, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015, in Morris, Ill.
He was born Oct. 20, 1929, in Milford Township, Rockwood, Pa., the son of the late James O. and Hazel Hay.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella Powell Hay; son, Stephen L. (Jayme) Hay of Lexington, Neb.; and daughter, Heather (Jason) Moore of Morris, Ill.
He is also survived by a sister, Rose Marie Keichel of Kirkland, Ohio. There are also three beloved grandchildren, Clint Hay of Brookings, S.D., and Olivia and Dawson Moore of Morris, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James B. Hay and Dean S. Hay; a sister, Lillian Kaufman; and infant daughter, Kristi E. Hay.
Morris was a veteran of the Air Force, having served in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He was also a manager in publications with Rockwell Collins Radio. Morris was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Cremation will be accorded and there will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday April 24, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
