Morgan, Evelyn Florence Seitler
Evelyn Florence Seitler Morgan, 80, of Hallmark Care Center in Mount Vernon, formerly of Anchorage, Alaska, died Friday, April 23, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. As per Evelyn's wishes private family services will be held at a later date. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.
Evelyn was born Oct. 5, 1929, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Florence (Ries) Seitler. Evelyn was an accountant and tax consultant in Chicago and Anchorage for many years.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Linda Louise (Bill) White of Olin; her brother, Robert Seitler of Dickinson, Texas; a grandson, Christopher Craig (Karen) Cowles of Rock Island, Ill.; three great-granddaughters, Emma, Samantha and Bryanna Cowles; as well as eight nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Louise Ries; her parents; a son, Lynn Arthur Morgan; two sisters, Carol Evans and Joyce Windsheimer; a sister-in-law, Sandra Seitler; and a niece, Susan Evans.
