Dora was born March 17, 1919, in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Marie (Rose) Dewey. Dora, along with her family, later moved to the Oxford area, where she spent the majority of her years. She was a graduate of Cosgrove High School. On Nov. 2, 1938, Dora married Virgil “Jack” Morgan in Iowa City. He later died on May 30, 2002.
Dode was a wonderful lady! She was a caring mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She enjoyed all types of arts and crafts, “visiting” casinos and playing the penny slots. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.

Dode was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Charles Dewey; a half brother, Ralph Dewey; a sister, Bonnie Newton; and a son, Gary Morgan.
The family would like to offer their sincere appreciation to the staff of Countryview for their kind and compassionate care.
