Nancy Hoffman More, 55, passed Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, after a battle with cancer in Lundhouse Hospice Center in Gilbert, Ariz.
Nancy was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to James and Patricia Hoffman on Oct. 5, 1955. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids. and later attended classes for nursing in Phoenix, Ariz. Nancy worked 30 years in Cardiac Care in Phoenix.
Survivors include her three sons, Matthew (Taylor), grandchildren Addison and Mason, and sons, Jeffrey and Daniel, all of Phoenix; her mother, Patti Hoffman; sister, Lisa Willett (Marty); brother, Jeffrey, all of Cedar Rapids; four other brothers, Mark (Karen) of California, Matthew (Pam) of Illinois, Chris of Hawaii, and Hal of Phoenix; and many nephews and nieces and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Hoffman; and brother, Gary.
Nancy loved life and music, children and extended family and helping others. She will be missed by many.
Celebrations of life will be held in Phoenix and Cedar Rapids, details pending.
