Moore, Ruby M.
Ruby M. Moore, 83, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospice. Memorial gathering will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Watkins Cemetery, Watkins, at a later date.
Survivors include her children, Cindy Williams of Texas, Ronald (Phyllis) O'Brien of Center Point and Jannette Hubbard of Oregon; 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Trudale of California and Arleigh Dibble of Louisiana; brother, Melvin Buck of Nevada; and her beloved dog, Little Girl.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Neil Moore; two sons, Roger O'Brien and Donald White Jr; grandson, Daniel O'Brien; and brother, Vermal Buck.
Ruby was born June 4, 1930, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Driver) Buck in Brandon, Iowa.
Ruby will be greatly missed. She left her family with many happy and funny memories.
