August Herman Monk Jr., 84, of Anamosa, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Silvercrest of Anamosa. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church in rural Monticello. The Rev. Jonathon Kosec will officiate at the service. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. Interment will be at Wayne Zion Cemetery.
