Mona Myhlhousen, 88, of Cedar Rapids passed away on January 31, 2024. Services will be held at a later date.
Mona was born February 2, 1935 to Clayton and Helen (Babcock) Hamilton. She was raised in Wyoming, Iowa and graduated from Wyoming High School in 1952.
Mona married Robert “Bob” Myhlhousen on April 5, 1953. Mona worked at Collins and retired in 1990.
Survivors include Mitzi (Tom)Zimmer, Jim Myhlhousen, Terry (Sherry) Myhlhousen, and Shelly (Ron) Bilsland; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are her sisters, Marilyn Peck, Jane (Bob) Hansen, Judy (Mike) Mead and sister-in-law, Frosty Hamilton. Several nieces and nephews and special friend, Pat Joens.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob; and brother, Ross Hamilton.
