Mona Joann Paul, 88, died on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at Terrace Glen Nursing Home. Private family services will be held. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Mona is survived by her sons, Mark (Jean) Paul of Marion, Michael Paul of Newton and James Paul of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Brian Paul and Dustin Paul, both of Marion, Jessica (Josh) Immerfall of Iowa City and Lindsey Paul of Marion; and great-grandchildren, Gage, Kenleigh and Parker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; infant daughter, Ann Marie; brothers, LaVerne, William, Stan and Lee; and sisters, Kathryn Howrey and Marilyn Fuller.
Mona was born on Dec. 19, 1933, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of August and Lucille Kvach Kreutzer. She graduated from Franklin High School, Cedar Rapids. On Nov. 17, 1956, Mona married Robert Paul in Cedar Rapids and was a wonderful homemaker and mother.
Mona enjoyed camping with her husband and spending time outdoors tending to her yard. Most importantly, Mona loved time with her family.
