Mollenhauer, Teresa Mari

Teresa Mari Mollenhauer, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Feb. 7, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. A funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.

Teri is survived by her daughter and best friend, Kathryn Montgomery, son in-law, Sean Montgomery, and their three children, Wyatt, Wayne and William. Teri is also survived by two brothers, Tim Stephenson and Mark (Diane) Stephenson, and their children, all of Cedar Rapids.

Teri was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Mary Stephenson; and a brother, Kurt Stephenson.

Teri was born Oct. 13, 1953. She graduated from Regis High School in Cedar Rapids. Teri was a people and animal lover, and could most often be found out with the horses for most of her younger years.

She was a devoted mother and was happiest spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies.

Teri will always be remembered for her positive outlook on life, her creativity and artistic hands, her strength, and her heart of pure gold.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
