Mollenhauer, Darlene Rae
Darlene Rae Mollenhauer, 53, of Cedar Rapids died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at her home with her family by her side. A funeral service officiated by the Reverend Beth Straw will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. James Methodist Church. Visitation at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. A private burial will be held in Lafayette Cemetery following the service.
Darlene Rae Mollenhauer was born in Vinton, on Feb. 16, 1956. She was the daughter of Clarence L. Mollenhauer and Ruby J. (Coberly) Mollenhauer. She was a member of the St. James United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids, as well as a member of the Emmaus Community. Darlene loved spending time with her grandchildren and crocheting.
Survivors are her father, Clarence L Mollenhauer; children, Jeremiah (Jacci) Usher, Briana (Todd) Evans, Nathan (Jade) Usher, Leah (Josh) LaBarr all of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Marsha Reihman of Amana, Lori Sykes of Marengo, and Julie Fife of Des Moines; brother, Clarence Mollenhauer Jr. of University Place, Wash.; grandchildren, Aryana, Cain, Isis, Destiny, Garrett, Gage, Nathan, Gwendolyn, Michael, and Jason; and eight step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby (Coberly) Mollenhauer.
All Memorials should be directed to the Mollenhauer/Huston family.
