Moellers, Sylvester Peter
Sylvester Peter Moellers, 88, Ossian, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Center in West Union, Iowa.
Survivors include his two daughters, Mary Jane (Norman) Phelps, San Francisco, Calif., and Nancy (Greg) Stahl, West Union; two grandchildren, Cassie Mittelstadt, West Union, and Erica Stahl, Chicago; and two great-grandchildren, Tucker Mittelstadt and Addison Mittelstadt, West Union.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Schmitz-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Ossian, and one hour before services at the church. The Knights of Columbus will lead the rosary at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Scripture service at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Ossian. Monsignor Cletus Hawes will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Cemetery in Ossian.
