Mitchell Allen Hurt, 67, of Central City, Iowa, passed away on October 23, 2023.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his daughter, Athena Strickland; siblings, Mark (Jill) Hurt of Marion; Lora (Phil) Nielsen of Central City; Linda (Bruce) Carr of Floyd, IA
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mitchell Allen Hurt was born April 6, 1956, the son of Howard & Darlene (Thompson) Hurt. After graduating from Alburnett High School, he worked as a carpenter for many years in the Cedar Rapids, Des Moines and Nashville areas. Mitchell also enjoyed hunting and fishing,
Mitchell will be greatly missed.
