Miranda Adeline Dundee, 89, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, conducted by Pastor John Albertson. Family will greet friends from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Gary (Alice) Dundee Sr. and Loren Dundee, both of Cedar Rapids, and Lou Ann Dundee (Yang No Huh) of South Korea; grand-children, Gary Dundee Jr. and Andrew Dundee, both of Cedar Rapids, and Eun Sang Huh and Kee Sang Huh, both of South Korea; great-grandchildren, Morgan Dundee and Jacob Dundee, both of Cedar Rapids; and siblings, Edwin Olson, Tennis Olson, Charlotte Olson and Clarice Kubasa, all of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Alfred Dundee.
Miranda was born Jan. 15, 1926, in Waukon, Iowa, daughter of Stanley and Thelma (Anfinson) Olson. She married Alfred Dundee on Jan. 15, 1947, in Harmony, Minn., who passed away in 1992. Miranda worked for Cedar Rapids Janitorial for 20 years and retired in 1993.
She was a member of the YMCA for 22 years, an avid enthusiast of physical fitness. Miranda traveled to 49 different states and loved flowers, cooking and baking. Her passion for life inspired those who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.
