MINDY SLAGER--DARRAGH
Waterloo
Mindy Slager-Darragh, 58, of Waterloo, passed away Sept. 16, 2016.
Mindy was born in Chicago on Jan 29, 1958, to Claudia Millard Feuss and Robert Slager. Mindy enjoyed her work in the health care field and did so for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Animals were her passion and she had several to love and care for. Mindy also loved spending time outdoors.
Survivors include her longtime partner, Danny Palmer of Waterloo; her four daughters, Nicole Darragh of Cedar Rapids, Christina Hillhouse (Tremayne), Becca Darragh and Jessica Sims (Kermit), all of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; sisters, Lorrie, Heather and Meretta; brothers, Steven, Raymond, B.J. and Edward; and her mother, Claudia.
Mindy was preceded in death by her twin daughters; sister, Marisa; and her father, Robert.
Mindy's wishes were to be cremated with a celebration of life to be held Oct. 15 at Ellis Park.
A special thank you to the Cedar Valley Hospice House of Waterloo for all their love and great care they gave Mindy.
