Mina Emde, a longtime Iowa City resident, passed away in Fresno, Calif., on Nov. 26, 2014, after an extended illness. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Joetown, rural Johnson County, Iowa. There will be a gathering time for family and friends later that day from 2 to 4 p.m. at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
