Miller, Sharon A.
Sharon A. Miller, 74, of Ankeny, formerly of Marion, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at her home. Service: 1 p.m. Friday, March 2, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by the Rev. Del Bear. The family will greet friends one hour before the service at the funeral home on Friday. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her daughters, Deb (Alan) Knuth, Lori Miller and Joelle (Craig) Logemann; and five granddaughters, Sarah, Bria, Emily, Jayde and Jamie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one daughter, Cindy Melson.
Sharon was born Aug. 7, 1937, in Rock Island, Ill., the daughter of Paul and Sarah (Prouty) Baruth. She married Darrell Miller on May 12, 1957, in Moline, Ill. Sharon worked as a cook with the Marion Independent School District for many years.
