Miller, Robert Lee 'Bob'

Robert Lee “Bob” Miller, 67, of Boone, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, at the First United Methodist Church, Boone. Burial will be in the Prairie Lawn Cemetery, near Boxholm. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel, Boone. Visitation continues from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, and from 12:30 to service time at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; a brother-in-law, John Rose; and his father-in-law, Clifford Bancroft.

Bob is survived by his wife of 48 years, Luella of Boone; a daughter, Lori Westrum and husband Dirk of Stratford; a son, Jim Miller and wife Jennifer of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Kelsey and Quinten Westrum and Taylor and Sydney Miller; a sister, Juanita Rose of Stratford; two brothers Doyle Miller and wife Vicki of Zearing, and Dale Miller and wife Cheryl of Milo; mother-in-law, Evelyn Bancroft of Jefferson; a brother-in-law, Vernon Bancroft and wife Corinne of Paton; nieces; nephews; and other family members and friends.
