Miller, Lisa E.G.
Lisa E.G. Miller, 46, of Iowa City, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Mercy Iowa City. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City with a time of visitation from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Lisa Miller Memorial Fund.

Lisa was born Oct. 10, 1966, in Iowa City, the daughter of Perry and Marlene (Walton) Miller. She graduated from City High and attended college in Fort Dodge. She worked for over 20 years at the University of Iowa in food service and was currently employed at Windmill Point. Lisa celebrated her commitment to Cindy Smith on Aug. 17, 2002, in Iowa City.
Anyone who knew Lisa knew of her sense of humor! She had an addictive laugh and was a “fan of the moon walk,” willing to do what it took to get a smile. She was also a sports fan, especially when it came to the Green Bay Packers.
Her family includes her life partner, Cindy Smith; their children, Suzey, Chad, Austin and Skyler Miller; sister, Kathy (Don) Stecher; and brothers, Perry (Mary Moyers) Miller, Mike (Anna) Miller and Pat Miller.
Lisa was a big sister to her niece and nephew, Donnie Stecher and Sunny Clifton, growing up together.
Her family also includes nieces, Mandy Ware and Sara Miller and Molly Miller. Lisa was also aunt to Donnie's children, Colton, Alissa and Einar; as well as Sunny and Marty's children, Mason and Maclin. Extended family includes her cousins and her dear friend, Chelsea Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City is caring for Lisa's family and her services.
