Miller, Gertrude M.
Gertrude M. Miller, 92, of Cedar Rapids, died March 2, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital following a short illness. Per Gertrude's wishes, no memorial services will be held. Following cremation she will be inurned at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary Beth Allsop and husband Stephen of Cedar Rapids; one sister, Virginia Steers of California; and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; and three brothers.
Gertrude Marie Miller was born May 30, 1918, to William and Mattie (Hubbard) Sanders in Montezuma, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Harold Vernon Miller on March 12, 1949, in Cedar Rapids. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Gertrude was a kind and loving mother and will be greatly missed by her family.
