Miller, Ellen M.
Ellen M. Miller, 80, a resident of Crestview Acres, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at the nursing home. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Marion. The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial: Burial: Lafayette Cemetery, Alburnett.
Survivors include her son, Larry (Karen) Miller of Washington; daughter, Allene (Earl) Covington of Marion; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Miller; four brothers and two sisters.
Ellen was born July 19, 1929, in Tipton, Iowa, the daughter of George and Esther (Coay) Hawley. She married Earl Miller on July 27, 1947.
