Miller, Deloris A.
Deloris A. Miller, 83, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center after a short illness. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Cedar Memorial Certified Celebrant Jim Parton will officiate. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Paul of Walker; two daughters, Diana (Eric) Oehrke of Meridian, Idaho and Carol Miller of Omaha, Neb.; and three granddaughters, Tessa, Kate and Michelle Morford.
Deloris was born Dec. 4, 1929, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Gustav and Ethel Doarns Glans. She married Robert F. Miller on Sept. 1, 1951, in Chicago. Robert passed away in 2007. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cedar Rapids Kennel Association and several local bridge clubs.
Deloris enjoyed bowling, playing bridge and especially the time spent with friends and her beloved family.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Memorials may be given to Camp Courageous.
