Miller, Curtis Gene

Curtis Gene Miller, 38, originally of Cedar Rapids, was found dead recently in Ohio. A memorial for Curt will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012, from 1 to 3 p.m. at 1746 Central City Rd., Central City, Iowa.

Curt was born July 12, 1973, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Randy Miller and Sandy Myers. He attended Metro High School. Some of his favorite hobbies included bicycling, disc golf, and landscaping. He had a passion for taking in stray animals until a forever home was found.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Steve and Sandy Myers of Algona, Iowa; children, LCpl Dillon Miller (USMC), Angel, Christopher, Steven, Tyler and Lisandra Miller and Zachary Hurst; siblings, William (Carol) Miller of Humboldt, Michelle (Dustin) Kraft of Renwick, Steven Myers Jr. of North English, Amanda Scott of Cedar Rapids, and Angie Myers, Marengo; and grandmother, Dixie Miller of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Miller; maternal grandparents, William and Edna Barnett; paternal grandfather, Richard Miller; and uncle, Steven Barnett.
