Milford "Mil" L. Frazier,
93, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018, at Windmill Manor, Coralville, following a decline in health due to dementia. Private family inurnment will be held at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Arrangements made by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Mil was born Sept. 15, 1924, in Fairfield, Iowa, the son of John E. and Grace (Burke) Frazier. He was raised in Cedar Rapids and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mil married Elaine Hartshorn in Providence, R.I., on March 17, 1945. Elaine passed away in 2012. He was a proud union worker at Cherry-Burrell for more than 32 years, until he retired. Mil loved to hunt, walk at the mall, travel in the motor home and go bowling. He lived a full and enjoyable life and truly loved his time spent with friends and family.
Mil is survived by his children, Sharon (Charles) Cihla of Marion and Richard Frazier of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Leah (Mike) Stadtmueller, Chuck Cihla, Kristy Frazier and Kevin Frazier; and great-grandchildren, Stefanie Stadtmueller, Colton Cihla, Samantha (Joey) Dighton, Cyle Cihla, Stevie Blozvich and Nick Blozvich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elaine; and siblings, Gerald, Shirley, Joseph "Dude" and Beryl.
The family would like to thank the Garden Court staff for taking such great care of Mil.
