Miksch, Peggy J.
Peggy J. Miksch, 59, of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at the Great River Hospice Center after failing in health since Oct. 30. Celebration of Life services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Jones & Eden Funeral Home, with Pastor Colton Clay and the Rev. Dan McClure officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Friday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Interment will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, rural Washington.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Miksch of Washington; son, Louie Miksch and wife Christina of Washington; daughter, Molly Miksch and fiance Jason Johnson of Washington; one grandson, Jayden Miksch of Washington; one granddaughter, expected in February; mother, Dorothy Chabal of Washington; brother, William Edward Chabal and wife Karen of Mount Pleasant; one niece and one nephew; and mother-in-law, Georgia Miksch of Washington.
Memorials have been established for Washington County Fairground Improvements or Washington High School Scholarship Fund.
