Mike Herron (Grizz) 77, passed away August 31, 2024, in Gowrie, Iowa.
Born to Charles and Lorraine (Hanna) Herron on October 15, 1946, in Arlington, Virginia. He was raised in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1964. He worked for 42 years at the Cedar Rapids Post Office. Retiring to Gowrie, Iowa with his wife Betty.
Left to mourn his passing are his sons Zach and Josh. Grandsons, Dakota, Mason and Linkin. Also, his sisters Corinne and Cheryl and nieces Amanda and Jenni. Preceding him in death are his parents and brother-in-law Tim Kephart.
He enjoyed classic cars and Harleys.
Private services at a later date in Clay Cemetery in Jones County, Iowa.
