Michelle Ohlhauser, age 49, passed away in Waterloo, Iowa on January 16, 2025. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Correctionville. There will be no burial or luncheon. The Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Correctionville is in charge of the arrangements.
Michelle Ohlhauser was born October 13, 1975 in Storm Lake, Iowa to Michael Law and Katheryn (Franken) Stille. She attended Iowa City High School, graduating in 1994.
Michelle was married to Allen Ohlhauser on December 4, 2015 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Michelle was employed as a property manager for Mirage Properties for many years. She was living in Waterloo, Iowa.
In her free time Michelle enjoyed bowling and was part of a bowling league in Marengo, Iowa with her husband, Allen, sister, Danielle and brother-in-law, David. She loved spending as much time as possible with her niece Savannah, she was her pride and joy. Her family meant more than anything to her and her time on the family farm north of Cushing was where she really felt at home. It was there that she made wonderful memories of checking on the cattle and playing Phase 10. Michelle loved all animals, especially cats and cows. She had four kitties that were her babies.
She is survived by her husband, Allen of Marion, IA; mother and stepfather, Kathy (Dale) Stille of Iowa City, IA; father and stepmother, Mike (Terri) Law of Sioux City, IA; grandmother, Dorothy Law of Cushing, IA; stepgrandmother, Mary Stille of Schaller, IA; sisters, Jill (Mike) Allen of Cedar Rapids, IA, Danielle (David) Brunk of Troutman, NC, Amy Law (Lucas) of Sioux City, IA and Jenn Wiese of Sioux City, IA; niece, Savannah Law of Troutman, NC; parents-in-law, Jim and Deb Ohlhauser of Amana, IA; brother-in-law, Steven Ohlhauser of Amana, IA and many extended family and friends.
Michelle was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Law; grandmother, Darlene Franken; great-uncle, Darrell Rininger; great-aunt, Maxine Law; and baby nephew, William Netolicky; and many other beloved family, friends and pets.
Those who knew her will forever miss her child-like spirit and seeing her smile and laugh.
