With our deepest sorrow, we must share with the world that Micheal Anthony O'Neal, 41, beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend to so many went to be with Jesus on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021, at Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.
Micheal was born on March 21, 1980, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He worked at Imon Communications in Cedar Rapids and was treated like family by his boss and colleagues. Micheal was a true Patriot who loved his country. He so enjoyed going to concerts with his dad and spending time with his family. He had a heart of gold, a great sense of humor, and a willingness to help, wherever he was asked.
He is survived by his parents, Anita and Kenneth Crooks; daughter, Ella; brother, Matthew O'Neal; and sister, Elizabeth Hlas.
He was preceded in death by his sidekick, Harley; and Grandma and Grandpa O'Neal.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to his family at 65 Devonwood Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.
