MICHEAL D. WISEHART
Moscow, Idaho
Micheal D. Wisehart, 66, of Moscow, Idaho, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Aug. 13, 2021, from Covid-19, at the age of 66.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at Greens Grove Cemetery, Center Point, on Aug. 19, 2021.
Micheal D. Wisehart was born on Sept. 27, 1954, to E. Rae Wisehart and Charles L. Wisehart (Chub). A true horror movie fan to the end, Mike enlisted in the Army after High school. Following his service, he graduated college in California, was commissioned in the Army Reserve, and enjoyed working as a California Park Ranger for many years. Mike retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserves and relocated to Idaho.
He loved the outdoors, the Iowa Hawkeyes, making us laugh, and laughing at us. He is dearly missed. But as he would say, "it is what it is!"
Micheal is survived by his children, Joleen Tietz, Sierra Wisehart and Bodie Wisehart (Katy); his grandchildren, Jordan Jenkins and William Tietz; his sisters, Pamela Jurgemeyer (Denny) and Paula Steenhoek (Terry); and his mother, E. Rae Culp (Jerry). He was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Wisehart (Chub); and his grandson, Josh Jenkins.
Instead of flowers, please donate to the charity Wounded Warriors, or the charity of your choice.
