Michael Yaus, 65, of Ely, Iowa, died Thursday, March 24, 2022. Graveside services: 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Marion.
Michael was born Nov. 28, 1956, the son of George and Evelyn (Burrows) Yaus. He will be remembered for his love of cats, movies and music, especially Josh Groban and Barbra Streisand. Michael enjoyed staying in touch with his family and many friends through social media. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by several cousins including. Nancy (Lynn) Kalina, Jon Kalina and Danny Kalina.
Michael was preceded in death his parents and sister, Michelle.
