MICHAEL CHARLES UPAH Urbandale Michael Charles Upah, 63, passed away Nov. 21, 2015, from complications of leukemia. A celebration of life will be Thursday, Dec. 10, from 3 to 5 p.m. at American Legion Hall, 625 31st St., Marion. Michael was born March 30, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Mary and Anthony Upah. He worked as a typewriter specialist for Midwest Technology and later as a photo specialist for Walgreens. Michael enjoyed cooking, grilling, traveling, spending time outdoors, music and beer. He will be greatly missed by his fiancee, Sheryl Faulkner; many wonderful cousins in Cedar Rapids and Arizona; and numerous special friends. Condolences may be expressed at www.
