Michael "Mike" James Saey, 57, of Cedar Rapids, died Dec. 29, 2015, at Hospice of Mercy. Celebration of Life service will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Moose Lodge in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his brothers, Eddie and Dan (Tracy) Saey of Cedar Rapids and Darrell and Danny Dvorak of Vinton; his sisters, Jean Saey of Minnesota, Janet (Lou) Daigle of Canada, Angel (Phil) Wacha and Diana (Chad) Frazier of Vinton; and his mother, Rose Saey of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his father, Darrel Dvorak.
Mike was born Jan. 16, 1958, in Mademuhlen, Germany. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family, riding his mountain bike, fishing and watching the Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Cardinals.
A memorial fund has been established.
